Four Corners report into Forced Adoptions 27 February 2010
For a
long time Origins NSW has been waiting for the Australian Government to help women who had their children stolen from them
in fraudulent forced adoptions.
On February 29, 2012,
the federal Senate inquiry into the Commonwealth's contribution to forced adoption policies and practices will be handed down.
Times
and attitudes are changing. Originally we were considered poor, young and confused 'relinquishing mothers', but now society
recognises that we were the victims of forced adoptions where our babies were taken under duress and deceit. Now is the time
for mothers to receive justice.
